Happy New Year! ðŸŽ‰ I hope you all had a great holiday and are getting back into the swing of things!
 
We have a few important updates and some exciting opportunities coming up:
 
Our January Athlete of the Month is Esperanza (Hope) Magana, who completed her first marathon (California International Marathon) to close out 2025! Please join me in congratulating her on this fantastic accomplishment and continued dedication to the sport!

The 24th Annual Ice Breaker Triathlon is scheduled for April 11th in Granite Bay. If you are racing, we wish you the best of luck.  If you are not racing, feel free to volunteer or cheer on your favorite triathletes!
 
CTC members will receive a discounted registration rate for the ICE Breaker Triathlon and for the Folsom Lake Triathlon. If you are interested in signing up for either or both races, please email me to receive the discount code.
