This is a shout out to anybody who has participated in a recent race. We would love to hear from you. Please send me any information on a race you have participated in. This could be as simple as your name and the name of the event, your results or a race report outlining your personal experience.
CTC was represented in Sacramento at the USAP Folsom Olympic Tri. Manny Mejia and Daren Otten represented CTC well. Daren sent in the following report; “For me I beat my last time at this race by over 11 minutes, but the fast guys showed up in the age group so my AG finish this year was actually lower. In any case I managed a 2:38:26, which was 14th in the M40-44, and 76th overall.”
Athlete of the Month:
The athlete of the month for May is Sue Kamrar. Congratulations Sue!! Please take the time to help us pick the next Athlete of the month. Just send an email to president@chicotriathlonclub.com listing your nomination.
