Training:
Swims:
One Mile open water swims are officially done for the year, but watch for informal swim gatherings as several members are in training for IM.
The River Road TTs:
Thank you, Eric Ayars, for hosting the TTs again this season. We look forward to this program starting up again in the spring.
Rides:
As the Fast, Fit and Fun 50 Ride Series wraps up, there will be a Wednesday night hill repeat group starting after the time changes in November.
Runs:
The Saturday Beginner LSD run is a beginner run going for up to 60 minutes. Meet at the 5-Mile Recreation Area near the bathrooms. Pay attention to the Facebook posts for updates.
TUESDAY Night Run: It is posted on Facebook weekly. This run currently meets at 5:30 at One Mile near the bathrooms on the North side of Sycamore Pool. After the time change this run will me moved to Wildwood Park to run on the Levee.
CTC Track Workout:
Currently Thursday track meetings are at 5:45 PM at the Chico State track. There is a charge for parking. Parking passes can be obtained at the kiosk or through the Passport phone ap. When the track is unavailable, alternative locations will be posted. Updates to the track location and any other info are made on the Facebook page.
Black Butte Tri/DU:
BBT was a blast. Stay tuned for next year’s registration info. Racers who brought a volunteer and are seeking reimbursement please contact Shawn Hughes.
